Qualifying for AAU Nationals -- Overview

AAU Girls’ Basketball hosts three different National Tournaments ("Nationals"), with separate methods of qualifying for the tournament depending the the specific national tournament. 

The specifics of qualifying for Nationals may be include many variables, but a general overview of how to qualify for each type of Nationals is described below.

The number of teams that qualify for Division I, Division II or Division III Nationals depends on how teams place at Districts and whether they have qualified at a Super Regional Tournament.

How Super Regionals Impact Bids for Nationals

Teams may qualify for the AAU Girls’ Basketball National Tournaments via one of two methods:
.  District Qualifying Tournament ("DQT")
.  Super Regional Tournament ("SRT")
