Potomac Valley AAU District Qualifying Tournaments -- Overview
AAU Districts are strongly encouraged to hold DQTs for each AAU age group. Potomac Valley AAU Girls’ Basketball hold DQTs for each of the following age groups:

. 10-Under
. 11-Under
. 12-Under
. 13-Under
. 14-Under
. 15-Under
. 16-Under
. Open Division
Separate Division I and Division II DQTs in most age groups. For all age groups except the 8-Under/9-Under, and Open Division, the Potomac Valley District holds separate Divison I and Divison II DQTs as long as there are enough teams for a separate D-II event. .
Teams entered in a D-I DQT are eligible to qualify for D-I or D-II Nationals; however, teams entered in a D-2 DQT are only eligible for D-II and D-III Nationals.

Starting in 2008, the Potomac Valley AAU Girls’ Basketball Committee has been maintaining a website with information, schedules, scores, standings, etc. for all Potomac Valley DQTs.
