Overview
In general, players are required to play on a team that is registered as an AAU club in the same District in which the player resides or attends school.
However, players are allowed to play for a team that is registered in a “Bordering District.” Players are not allowed to play for a team from a District that does not border the District in which the player is a resident.
The only "Bordering Districts" to the Potomac Valley District are the:
. Maryland District
. Virginia District
A team entering its District Qualifying Tournament (“DQT”) may not have more than three players that are from Bordering Districts. The same limitation applies to teams entering an SRT or National Championship.
