This section relates to the rules that establish the PV AAU Girls’ Basketball Committee, the Committee’s Director, Committee Meetings and voting at Committee meetings.
Section E(5)-Committees. Lists required committees for each AAU district.
· Section E(5)(a)(4)-District Sports Committees. Allows committees to be established for manage a specific sport in a district. Includes the committee composition and duties.
· Section E(5)(a)(4)(c)-District Sports Director. Establishes rules related to the election and responsibilities of a director to lead the sports committee.
· Section E(5)(a)(4)(e)-Meetings. Establishes rules related to the holding sports committee meetings.
· Section E(5)(b)-Voting. Each member of a committee shall have one vote unless the operating rules of the committee provide for weighted voting procedures. Proxy voting is not allowed.
