National Championships

Pool Play
For the 14-Under through Juniors Nationals and the Open Division Nationals, there will be a miximum of five (5) and maximum of six (6) teams in each pool.  Pool play will be played in three (3) days.  


Bracket Play -- Championship and Consolation Brackets
The first, second & third place teams will advance to a single elimination Championship Bracket.  The fourth, fifth & sixth place teams will advance to a single elimination consolation bracket.  Circumstances may require adjustments to the prescribed format.  The National CHair shall make the final decision on any adjustment. 

Note: This is a change from prior years.  In prior years, all teams advanced to the Championship Bracket and no Consolation Bracket was held.


Same Tournament Format For Division I and Divison II Nationals
In prior years, the 14-Under through Juniors Nationals, the tournament format has been the same at D-I Nationals and D-II Nationals. The 2008 Handbook does not address the tournament format in Division II for the 14-Under through Juniors Nationals
