Day 4/5 -- Mustangs Fall in Quarterfinals of Classic Bracket
The WFBC Mustangs started the Classic Bracket strong on Friday with a 54-39 victory over the Tri-State Tarheels to advance to the quarterfinals.  In Saturday’s quarterfinal game, the Mustangs lost a squeaker to the TN Glory 59-56.  With the loss, the Mustangs were eliminated from the tournament. 

Day 3 -- Mustangs Go 1-3 and Finish 4th in Pool Play
The WFBC Mustangs went 1-3 in pool play to finish in 4th place in Pool E.  All teams advance to the Championship Bracket on Friday.

Day 2 -- Mustangs 1-1 in Pool Play
After two days of pool play action, the WFBC Mustangs are 1-1.  They lost their opener on Tuesday 42-39 to the Rockland Rockets out of New York City.  On Wednesday, the Mustangs bounced back with a 43-30 win over the Greenwave out of Florida. 

The Mustangs wrap up pool play on Thursday with two games against the teams in first and second place after Wednesday’s games.  

Preview
The 14-Under Division I National Championship starts in Clarksville, TN on Tuesday.  The only team competing from the Potomac Valley District is the WFBC Mustangs.
