Estimated Number of 2008 AAU Division I Qualifiers from Potomac Valley District
The total number of bids available to AAU D-I Nationals from the Potomac Valley District is the sum of:
Number of bids based on number of teams in 2008 DQT in the PV District (D-I and D-II teams combined)
+ Additional slots for number of teams from PV that finished in Top 4 at the 2007 D-1 Nationals (in age group)
+ Number of bids earned at 2008 SRTs
= Total number of available bids by age group
The following table is the current estimate of teams that will earn bids to AAU D-I Nationals from the Potomac Valley District. The actual number of qualifying teams will change based upon actual number of teams entering each age group’s DQT and how many teams qualify for D-I Nationals via an SRT.
